The Value of Governments in Fighting Malnutrition

Governments are essential to the fight against malnutrition. They need to invest in programs to address the problem, suggests Marc Van Ameringen, executive director of the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition. In addition, national authorities can regulate companies to support programs such as food fortification, he adds.
