Oliver is a former U.S. diplomat experienced in leading cross-sector partnerships to promote a more sustainable world. At the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), he mobilized $125 million in blended finance for climate resilience and water security initiatives, providing safe water and sanitation access to 3.7 million people. Oliver also managed large projects, led teams, and coordinated stakeholder relationships during wartime in Ukraine. Previously, he covered global development trends as a journalist and managed programs at various nonprofits and a fintech startup. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Eckerd College and an M.B.A. from William & Mary. He lives in Washington, D.C., with his spouse and their two adopted dogs.
