Project Summary

In support of Australia’s Healthy Indonesia 2010 plan, the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) has committed AU$49 million to improve maternal and neonatal health care in the Southeast Asian nation. The agency will disburse the funds for five years.

 

UPDATE, 21 August 2008: AusAID already released a tender for this initiative.

 

UPDATE, 28 May 2009: Activities funded and implemented through the partnership include increasing clinical skills of health workers, improving health workforce planning and increasing women’s registration with midwives.
