Position Mandate

As a key member of the HR HQ team, the Senior Talent Acquisition (TA) Associate plans, executes, manages, and coordinates full life cycle talent acquisition and provides quality service to Hiring Teams/Practices which include attraction, retention, and some development. The Senior TA Associate is a passionate change agent who works to strengthen our processes and support the staff around current and future needs. By matching the right talented individuals to the right roles, the Senior TA Associate enables long-term success for the organization.

Resonance is currently fully remote due to COVID-19. This position can be based out of our Burlington, VT or Washington, DC offices, or remote within reasonable distance of one of these offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute and manage full life cycle recruitment process (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, employee announcements both internally and externally etc.) for all employment statuses: full-time, part-time, etc.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (Lever) and provide continuous improvement recommendations based on market research and business need.
  • Serve as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
  • Build TA capacity for proposal (BD)/project and corporate recruitment.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and current job descriptions for all staff positions, ensuring consistency with regulatory compliance.
  • Train hiring and interviewing stakeholders on TA practices, processes, and techniques.
  • Complete hiring process within defined objectives/KPIs. Develop appropriate marketing/hiring strategies, collaborate on the definition of roles and responsibilities of hiring team, and develop service-level agreements to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing & retention strategies, and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Develop and build DEI strategies to support fair and unbiased recruitment processes.
  • Manage and execute college/university recruitment strategy and Internship program.
  • Collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool and conduct data analysis that drives action plans at the appropriate levels.
  • Partner to develop and implement the talent management processes which will include career management, leadership development, succession planning, mobility, and staffing plans.
  • Other projects upon request.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated TA experience in International Development. This experience must include sourcing across all channels such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience USAID proposal (BD) recruitment experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ of demonstrated experience with developing candidate pipelines to support optimal candidate selection.
  • Experience in working with applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience with developing and utilizing candidate assessments and calibrations for hiring decision support.
  • Experience storytelling through TA data analytics: time to fill, time to hire, offer acceptance rate, etc.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS

Travel as required domestically and internationally.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE

US work authorization required.

SALARY EXPECTATIONS

The expected salary for this role is $75,000-$120,000 USD depending on experience, and whether this role will be placed as a Senior Associate or Talent Acquisition Manager.
