Founded in 1993, Cairo for Investment and Real Estate Development (CIRA) is the largest integrated provider of educational services in the Egyptian private sector.

CIRA owns and operates 19 schools offering multiple education tracks, including British, American, French, German and National curricula.

With the majority of the Group’s schools operating under its own ‘Futures’ brand, CIRA caters predominantly to the fragmented middle-income segment, offering premium curriculum at affordable pricing.

CIRA is also active in the higher-education segment with its Badr University in Cairo (BUC) launched in 2014. Badr University, which houses 9 faculties as of the 18/19 academic year, enjoys a fast-growing student body (14/15 – 18/19 CAGR: 67%) and key affiliations with more than 25 top universities globally. The university’s strategic location in Cairo’s far east brings quality education to students from underpenetrated governorates such as Ismailia, Suez, and the Delta.
